Sariya al-Kinani is one of the leaders of the Muslim armies in the conquests of Persia.
On the same day, the Commander of the Faithful Omar Ibn Al-Khattab was delivering a sermon on Friday on the pulpit of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, in Medina, and suddenly, without people’s introduction, I met our master Omar calling at the top of his voice during his sermon.
[Oh pole of the mountain, the mountain, whosoever escorts the sheep to the wolf has been wronged]
After the sermon ended, the people approached Omar and asked him about these words and what he meant. He said:
[By God, I did not pay any attention to him, something came from my tongue]
Then they said to our master [Ali bin Abi Talib]:
What is this the Commander of the Faithful says? Where is it from us now?
He told them:
[ It is judged! They called Umar, for he did not enter into a matter but left it.]
After a period of time, it was applied to our master Omar in Medina, and he said:
[O Commander of the Faithful, the enemy has multiplied against the Muslim soldiers and we are in great danger, so I heard a voice calling: “Oh, the pole of the mountain, the mountain!
Then I took my companions to the foot of a mountain, and its climax was taken as a shield for us, protecting the rear of the army, and we faced the Persians from one side, and it was only an hour until God conquered us and defeated them.”
This story bears two parts, which we can explain by telepathy, receiving and sending between our master Omar to our master Sariya.
And what the commentators have interpreted as a dignity for our master Omar is that he sees what is happening in Persia while he is in the city, and even with it the solution to the dilemma that saved the Muslims and the ability to deliver the message.
But is risking that easy and anyone can do it?
